Assignment 4: Active Aging

aww grannies

these dancing grandmas are the main stars of my ‘active aging’ poster :) i drew and scanned them, so that explains the lack of colours. i can’t wait to see how the grandmas will look like in full colour! it’ll be BOOMZ man.

Assignment 3: Visual Story

2345678

HIDE & SEEK!

i think i owe my little sisters an icecream treat.

it is not easy trying to get them to pose in the pictures – they kept fidgeting and laughing and running around… but i think they did a good job overall.

Abstraction of Tang Plaza

tang plaza/marriott hotel. i’ve never realised that that tower exists, or perhaps i forgot, even when i walked through this building for like countless of times.

but this isn’t the final version, i’m gonna refine it. after today’s tutorial my classmates gave some advice on how to improve on it etc…. but WHEN am i gonna refine it is another question altogether HAHA. maybe tomorrow, i’m feeling kinda lazy now :p

Lecture Activity #1 – Iconic? Indexic?

icon? index?

icon? index?

this week’s lecture was about representational techniques. to be honest i was falling asleep during the lecture but as soon as we had to get started on the lecture’s activity, which was sketches, i was instantly awakened from my sleep HAHA dramatic much i know right ok i’ll stop blabbing.

so anyway we had to sketch things that represent things iconically and indexically. in case you don’t know whatever that means:

  • iconic – by resemblance
  • indexic – by suggestions

am i right dear lecturer/tutor/ whoever’s reading this? well i think this week’s lecture activity is very useful since it gave us a rough idea of what we have to do for assignment two (which btw, i’m doing right now omg i’m struggling to get at least FIVE abstracts on this dreary sunday afternoon le sighzx)!!

ok enough of words i’m sure the picture/sketch speaks for itself AND btw again this awesome picture/sketch wouldn’t be possible without the help of my other two mates who had to endure my endless headbanging sessions during the lecture – rozmail & fahimah *HIGH-FIVES

ok back to ASSignmnet two. xoxoxo

drawing’s block

drawing, or rather, attempting to draw while suffering from a minor bout of drawing’s block ain’t fun.
